Charlena Priddy, MS, LPC

Online Counseling for Teens & Women Across Texas

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, perfectionism, low self-worth, depression, or relationship struggles leave you feeling stuck. Whether you're a teen struggling with school stress, friendships, social anxiety, or family challenges, a college student navigating the pressures of academics and relationships, or a woman balancing work, parenting, marriage, and life's many responsibilities, you don't have to face it alone.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I provide secure telehealth counseling for clients throughout Texas, making it easier to receive compassionate, professional support from the comfort of your own home. I help teens and women of all ages break free from the cycle of anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, and unhealthy relationship patterns so they can experience greater confidence, peace, emotional freedom, and resilience. Together, we'll identify the false beliefs and patterns that are keeping you stuck, develop practical coping skills, strengthen communication and relationships, and cultivate lasting change.

My approach is warm, personalized, and grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, while tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals. Rooted in a conservative Christian worldview, I strive to honor each person's values and spiritual journey. For clients who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate Christian, faith-based counseling through prayer, Scripture reflection, and biblical principles, always respecting your beliefs and preferences.

Healing is possible. Whether you're seeking clarity, hope, emotional healing, healthier relationships, or a renewed sense of purpose, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward lasting growth and freedom.

Professional Background

I began my counseling career in 2017 and have had the privilege of serving children, teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings, including domestic violence agencies, Christian nonprofits, foster care agencies, private practice, and public schools as a mental health and crisis counselor. Before becoming a counselor, I spent seven years teaching 3rd and 4th grade, an experience that continues to shape my understanding of child and adolescent development and my passion for supporting young people and their families.

My Values

Service

Service is my top priority. I strive to serve God and my clients in a way that meets needs and fosters trust. I work to provide a positive experience, from the initial intake session to ongoing support.

Compassion

Compassion means having a sympathetic awareness of others' distress combined with a desire to alleviate it. This is why I believe a compassionate counselor is essential to a positive counseling experience. Your pain matters, that is why I seek not only to understand but to come alongside you and aid you in healing.

Connection

Connection with a safe, supportive therapist is critical to the counseling process. This connection provides a safe space where clients can do the hard work of therapy. I not only value a healthy therapeutic connection with my clients, but I strive to help my clients find healthy connections with their friends and family.

Honor

Every person has irrevocable value and worth. My practice honors the dignity and worth of every client I see. I respect the values and beliefs of our clients and seek to understand rather than to be understood.
