I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with seven years of experience. I earned my Masters in the Science of Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University, a member of A & M University in Texas. As a counselor, my hope is to create a supportive relationship that my client will feel validated, heard and seen within a safe environment. I believe a collaborative and positive relationship between client and counselor proves to benefit the journey to healing. I believe in the Golden Rule and will reflectively listen with an open mind and heart, without judgement or labels. My Christian faith influences how I conduct myself and my counseling.

I work with clients of all ages, however most of my experience is working with children, adolescents, and young adults within the context of childhood trauma. I am trained in Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Person Centered Therapy. Although I have experience and training in multiple modalities, I am eclectic in my approach to counseling as no one theory fits each client’s needs. Counseling will be a team effort between client and therapist, as we create a treatment plan to meet your specific and unique needs.
